The founder of Scan Security is a native of Denmark. He holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the East Asiatic Company, Copenhagen and is an international security executive specializing in the international supply chain for the transport industry. As a manager and owner's representative of EAC Shipping, Mr. Sorensen was stationed in various Latin destinations like Spain, Mexico and Venezuela for more than 10 years.
Scan Security is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, with representative offices in Europe, and Latin America for it's undertaking of supply chain risk assessments and filing of the U.S. AMS (Automated Manifest System) and the European ENS (European Import) / EXS (European Export). Since 9/11, Scan Security has been assisting U.S. incorporated companies and foreign Carriers (Container, Project, Dry-Bulk & Tanker owners or charterers) to obtain C-TPAT Certification.
